The Westertown Bowling Club is situated in the Westertown district in the north-west of Eastercity.

We are a small, friendly club with a superbly maintained green split into 16 playing rinks. Our clubhouse provides a comfortable place to sit and relax after your game. We have a cafe/bar with a comfortable viewing gallery looking out over the green and ladies and gents changing rooms with extensive locker facilities. 

We are part of both the Eastercity Bowling Association and the English Bowling Association.  Our membership varies from year to year and, at present, there are 120 members in the Gent's Section and 74 members in the Ladies Section.

Coaching Update

We would like to welcome Andrew Smith, our new bowls coach.  Andrew has recently moved to Westertown from Tydd and we will shortly be posting a new coaching schedule on the main noticeboard.

Triples Competition

Annual Open Triples : Another successful open triples competition was held on Saturday October 26th. The competition was once again sponsored by JTM but this year additional sponsorship came from Newstreet Bowls Shop.

Christmas Party

The club's Xmas party date has  been confirmed for the 23rd December.  Everyone remembers last year's huge event and tickets are going fast - so don't delay book your place today.  Tickets are available from Pauline.
